Yankees changed face hair policy for decades for decades


The New York Yankees Go into the 2025 season with a new look.

“In the past few weeks I have spoken with a large number of former and current Yankees – diverse different eras – to generate their perspectives on our long -standing facial hair and care policy, and I appreciate their sincere and varied feedback,” said Steinbrenner in the declaration .

“These most recent conversations are an extension of the current internal dialogue that dates for several years. Ultimately, the final decision lies with me, and after a major consideration we will change our expectations to have our players and uniformed staff taken care of well -cared for beards.

The face hair policy was founded in the 1970s and became part of the manual of the team for players in the future.
