WWE Legend Reveals Incredible Story About The Undertaker In Iraq (Exclusive)

The Undertaker dominated WWE for 30 years. His feuds against Kane, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and others placed him in the upper echelons of this industry. There’s no doubt that the stories surrounding “Taker are the stuff of legend.”

Speaking on a recent episode of What Were They Thinking? on Backstage passesJBL recalled an incredible story about The Undertaker in Iraq. The Hall of Famer said they took their photos inside Saddam Hussein’s palace during their tour of Baghdad, Iraq:

“I mean, we, we stayed in Saddam Hussein’s palace. There’s a famous picture of me and Undertaker on Saddam Hussein’s throne. Here it is, Palace.” (09:33 onwards)

Elsewhere on the podcast, JBL revealed that he and Undertaker were invited to play golf by US soldiers on Saddam Hussein’s porch during WWE’s visit to Iraq in the 2000s:

A Top AEW Star Just Called One Of His Colleagues A ‘Spoof’ And A ‘Narcissist’ HERE.

“We’re in Saddam Hussein’s palace and in Iraq. We’ve rarely, rarely stayed in the Green Zone. We’ve always stayed on the bases out front. And so I got Undertaker and I’m like, do you want to be a part of this? Think, and I don’t know what’s going on, but something’s going on and the soldier had gotten a bunch of golf balls from the USO and took us out on Hussain’s porch, you’d hit together us some golf balls. lake.” (From 25:45 onwards)

While JBL didn’t reveal who won the golf game, the former WWE Champion apparently had a great time.
