Luke Littler took just 10 minutes to get to the second round of Winmau World Masters on a night during which Jonny Clayton was amazed, Michael Van Gerwen presented a new appearance and Chris Doby, Dave Chisnall and Gary Anderson were hit.
Kinging World Champion PDC Littler only threw one leg as he swept the 2023 WDF world champion Andy Baeetens 3-0 to create a last-16 conflict with James Wade on Saturday after the latter defeated Mike De Decker 3-2 in a Hard game of the evening.
Littler was wonderful in his double at the beginning of his conflict with Baeetens, hitting his first four attempts before he finished with a success rate of six of nine on the outside ring.
Nathan Aspinall also impressed, with six doubles eight and a huge 161 finish in Taurus, while scanning Andrew Gilding 3-0 to secure a clash with the conqueror Cameron Menzies of Chisnall, who defeated his 3-1 opponent.
But the show of the night came from Clayton, who on average 112.77 on the road to defeat Martin Schindler 3-1 in a high quality case, winning a victory for Wales after the Nation’s Ruby Union’s side was Trized 43-0 from France in six nations.

The Dutchman, beaten by Littler in the final of the World Championship a few weeks ago, wore a different top to mark five years with his sponsor.
