Henry supports ‘full’ raphinha
Speaking to CBS last night, former French striker said: “He (Raphinha) is there above what he does in the Champions League. He has 11 goals in the Champions League.
“Mo Salah is a big candidate for that. Harry Kane is a candidate.
“Raphinha is in many goals with a single penalty. I’m not saying that Kane should not have a penalty (statistics) and Mo Salah has a season in the Premier League that we will never see again.
“But I say if a man has the same number of goals than your guys scored without sanctions. He’s not bad. He’s excellent.
“What he does at the top of the defense, when people talk to be full. As an striker you need to know how to put pressure on and squeeze well and Raphinha has everything.”
Flick supports Henry’s view
Raphinha has also played a key role in Barcelona that covers La Liga, though it is a level in places with Real Madrid and only one in front of Atletico Madrid.
Blaugrana Hansi Flick’s boss spoke last week of Raphinha’s importance to his team.
The German said: “Raphinha for the Ballon d’Or; he is a candidate, yes. Of course, if he is doing well this season he could have a chance.
