ABC announced on Wednesday, January 8 that America’s most-watched daytime network talk show will expand to weekends with a new streaming series titled The view over the weekend.

Premiering on Saturday January 11, the 30-minute show will be hosted by the talk show’s Friday panel, including a moderator Joy Behar and dishwashers Sunny Host, Sarah Haynes, Alice Farrah Griffin and Ana Navarro.

Whoops Goldberg will continue to moderate Hot Topics on The view from Monday to Thursday.

According to ABC, The view over the weekend will focus on the biggest stories in entertainment and the buzziest news leading social media feeds.

With all-new Unexplored Hot Topics of the Week, the ladies promise to share their unique views on a variety of topics with their own candor and humor.

“In addition to the most-watched linear season in four years, The view succeeds in meeting viewers wherever they get their content,” executive producer Brian Theta it said in a statement. “From podcasts to YouTube and now with new exclusive streaming content for the weekend on ABC News Live.”

While The view achieved ratings success by discussing politics, The view over the weekend is expected to take a lighter approach with its themes.

“We’re following what we’ve seen to be successful on ABC News Live on the weekends,” Karin Guilfordsenior vice president of Digital Media, ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks, said Diversity in an interview published on January 8. “On Saturdays and Sundays, the feeling is lighter. They still cover all the stories of the week, but in a slightly different tone. So it will be the same format of the show. We’ll cover the hot topics, but it’ll lean a little more into pop culture on the weekends.”

The fans of The view you’ll probably see the housewives discussing their favorite celebrities.

In previous episodes, Hostyn, 56, voiced her support for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopezis a love story while Navarro, 53, shed light on his friendships with stars like Eva Longoria and Gloria Estefan.

As for Farrah Griffin, 35, she’s a self-proclaimed Swiftie who loves reality TV. Her recent favorite shows include The real hosts in beverly hills and Dancing with the stars.

The view over the weekend airs on ABC News Now Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. ET and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. ET.
