Ariana Madix is happy to no longer keep the secret of Vanderpump Rules‘ casting changes for season 12.
“I was just relieved that the public was finally aware of the conversations we were having,” Maddix, 39, exclusively said Us Weekly at TheWrapPower Women Summit 2024 in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, December 3. “So it’s nice that this news is out there and yeah, now I don’t have to sit here and hold it.”
As for whether she has plans to appear in the spinoff series The valleyMaddix said, “No, I don’t.” However, she is happy to host the new cast of VPR at her and Katie Maloneythe sandwich shop of Something About Her—and probably a movie there, too.
“If any of the neighborhood kids at SUR want to come into Something for Her, have a sandwich, and have a little fight over Cameron sandwiches and some Avaline wine, we’d love to have them,” she shared.
Last month, Bravo announced that the upcoming season of VPR will feature a longtime star Lisa Vanderpump with a a completely new group of “close SUR-versions that are as intricately interconnected as their iconic predecessors.” Filming will begin in 2025, and the cast has yet to be revealed.
Spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, VPR premiering in 2013. and follows the professional and personal drama among the staff at Vanderpump’s West Hollywood SUR restaurant. Maddix appeared in the first two seasons as a guest and recurring star before being upgraded to the main cast for Season 3 in 2014.

While it’s Maddix’s time VPR is over, she’s already looking forward to what’s next. “I’d like to go back to Broadway,” Maddix, who made her Broadway debut as Roxy Hart in Chicago earlier this year, he said us. “I’m turning 40 next year in 2025, so I’d like to experience that feeling.” Just last week, the reality star performed to one of her biggest audiences ever, singing ‘Love Fool’ on a float during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcasting.
She continued, “I am manifesting this right now. Feel that feeling that so many women talk about when they turn 40 or in their late 30s, 40s, that they feel so themselves and so comfortable with themselves. I’m looking forward to feeling that. I don’t know if I’ve felt it yet, so now I’m manifesting it for myself. “
After being in the entertainment industry “for 15, 20 years,” Maddix said she finally feels “stepped into myself and what I really love and believe in,” adding, “I have the most amazing team of people around me, and so it’s nice to feel like I’m somewhat in control of my own destiny at this point.

I never feel stressed. I never worry and he always puts me at ease and makes me feel really good.
Asked if he thought wedding bells might be in the future, Maddix quipped, “I don’t know.”
