Whoopi Goldberg says that she is not going to Kennedy Center with Trump as chairman of the location


“The view” Co-host Whoopi Goldberg announced that she will not visit the Kennedy Center for the near future after President Trump was chosen for chairman of the Washington DC Arts location.

The actress and comedian made the statement during the ABC talk show on Thursday, performed with the makers of the ‘Hamilton’ piece, who removed their show from the theater after Trump’s shake-up of the leadership of Kennedy Center.

“I understand why they did it,” she said with regard to the people behind Hamilton and added, “and I have no plans to go back to the Kennedy Center until it should be what it should be.”

“The View” Co-host Whoopi Goldberg stated that she “has no plans” to visit the Kennedy Center after President Trump had filled the board of the location with his allies.

The words of Goldberg come after “Hamilton” maker Lin-Manuel Miranda and show producer Jeffrey Seller this week announced this week that she and their show will not be associated with the Kennedy Center in the future, after President Trump the Oude Board of Trump-Figuren, who then reconstated that appointed him chairman last month.

In a joint explanation to the New York Times, both Miranda and the seller stated: “This newest action from Trump means that it is not the Kennedy Center as we knew. In response to their statement, newly beaten Kennedy Center President, Ric Grenell, wrote on x“Let’s be clear about the facts. Seller and @lin_manuel first went to the New York Times before they came to the Kennedy Center with their announcement that they cannot be in the same room with Republicans. This is a publicity stunt that will be counterproductive.”

He added: “The art is for everyone – not just for the people who like Lin and agree.”

“The view” Co -hosts provided support for the movement of the “Hamilton” producers. Co-host Sara Haines stated that art should be a “place of such inclusion and celebration” and suggested that Trump fills the board with conservatives that flies in the light of that.

Co-host Joy Bear Chimde in with a Snarky Quip about the new leadership of the location and stated: “I think, you know, Trump and Vance can shine in ‘The King and I’, for example.

“And I would like to know, Trump knew who (Alexander) Hamilton is?” Hear early and added: “They ruined the whole thing.”

Sunny Hostin argued on behalf of the Hamilton producers and said: “If you dismiss everyone – and it was a dual group – and she replaces Sycofanten who just go … who just do the Trump line, is that really the mission of the Kennedy Center? And they say no.”

Co-host and former Trump employee Alyssa Farah Griffin reminded the panel that Hamilton people often made political explanations after their shows.

The Kennedy Center did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.
