West Ham was accused by the football association for the alleged homophobic chant by their supporters during last month against Chelsea.
Hammers were hit 2-1 by Blues at Stamford Bridge in early February, during which FA claimed that the club “failed to ensure that its viewers do not behave in inappropriate, offensive, abusive, obscene or offensive way of reference to sexual orientation”.
The FA said the club was accused of being allegedly abusing the fans. Days after the game, West Ham published a statement saying that the club “strongly condemns the discreet and homophobic scissors aimed at opposition supporters.
“The song is completely unacceptable and has no place in football or anywhere else.”
West Ham has until Tuesday, April 1st to answer FA’s charges.

The news composes a hectic a few days from the West Ham stadium. It is understood that the listening to Lucas Paqueta’s bets began last week, with FA seeking a ban on Brazilian life.
The hearing is believed to last three weeks, making it one of the largest judicial proceedings in FA history.
Paqueta was charged with offenses of attacking four Premier League matches against Leicester in November 2022, Aston Villa in March 2023, Leeds in May 2023 and Bournemouth last August.
The 27 -year -old didn’t bet. These bets – about 60 for relatively small stakes – are believed to have been placed by friends and family.
Paqueta denies any injustice, but FA charges in 2024, it states that the midfielder has attempted to “influence progress, behavior or any other aspect or appearance in these matches, intentionally seeking to receive a card from the referee for the referee for the inappropriate purpose.”
Paqueta was also accused of two violations of the FA F3 rule over the alleged failures to comply with the FA F2 rule, which is related to the provision of information and documents.
“I am extremely surprised and upset that FA decided to charge me,” Paqueta said in a statement released at the time of the charges.
“For nine months, I worked with every step of their research and gave all the information I can.
“I deny the accusations as a whole and will fight with every breath to clean my name. Due to the ongoing process, I will not give further comments.”
