A Celtic fan had a night to remember after helping to orchestrate a wonderful post-match moment with Young Boys fans.
Joshua McLaughlin had just seen the Hoops secure a place in the Champions League play-off round after visiting defender Loris Benito scored an own goal with four minutes remaining to beat Celtic 1-0.
The goal was a huge relief for Brendan Rodgers’ side after they dominated most of the game at Celtic Park.
After the post-match celebrations had finally died down, McLaughlin went to applaud the traveling fans and the Swiss contingent, in return, had him lead a chant before a long standing ovation.
The moment was shared widely on social media with the Young Boys retweeting a post from Joshua’s father Kevin.
💚🤍 FOOTBALL 💛🖤
Joshua, a young Celtic fan, was at Celtic Park with his dad yesterday and after the game there was this cute scene where Joshua did the whole YB curve wave. BSC Young Boys supporters then presented him with a YB scarf.
