Virat Kohli has repeatedly denied demands for the recalculation of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 virtual celebration, after India’s national team raised the trophy for the third time in the Dubai International Stadium package in Dubai on Sunday (March 9).

It was a cheerful occasion, as Ms Dhoni’s national cricket team won the trophy with an exciting five -year victory over England. And now, after the men in Blue beat New Zealand from four wicked to lift the Trophy Champions, many wanted Kohli to recreate this magic in Dubai.

Even the Indian quick spherical Bowler Harshit Rana recreated Kohli’s virtual “Gangnam Style style” along with Arshdeep Singh and Ravindra Jadeja after the title triumph in Dubai. But when the athletic presenter Star Jatin Sapru asked the former Indian ruler to make his virtual celebration, the right handler refused to fold his hands and shake hands.
Well, the requests for the same did not stop there, as Harshit Rana asked Kohli to join him to recreate the virtual “Gangnam Style” celebration when the whole team, including the BCCI training staff and employee, set out for the Trophy. Virat rejected the request again.

Initially, the former Captain of India did not pay attention to Rana and Arshdeep Singh and then kindly refused by folding his hands and holding his ears. However, Kohli still enjoyed watching the new Bowlers celebrating the moment. However, this time Shreyas Iyer showed his dance skills, as the Indian cricket celebrated with the trophy.

However, the 36 -year -old superstar did not leave the fans during the big celebrations at the international stage of Dubai as he showed Bhangra’s moves and even played “Dandiya” with Captain Rohit Sharma after the team’s historic victory.

Meanwhile, Kohli opened for his feelings after winning the fourth ICC title and shared if he still felt the same way he felt after the victory of his first trophy. Specifically, he has won the 2011 ODI World Cup in 2013 and 2025 Champions Trophy and the 2024 T20 World Cup in his prominent career so far. However, Virat could not win an ICC trophy as a Captain of India.
Kohli told Star Sports, “Of course you are playing this game. You play for such great days, for such great tournaments. When you do it four times, then it’s a blessing. I consider myself lucky to play for so much and I will win four times. It was amazing.”
