Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz On Friday, a “shadow government” said needed to give Americans the truth about the actions of the Trump government.
Speaking in a town hall in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Walz accused the Trump administration of the attacks of voting rights, which according to him could be remedied by a new form of government.

“We see one of the first things they do is try to limit the mood,” Walz said about the Trump government. “However, this is one of the things that this is going to take the power industry for – I don’t know what the answer is about this, but I am a bit – I say this: I think we need a shadow government, so if all these things arise every day, we have an alternative press conference that tells the truth, tell them what is going on.”
The comment led to criticism from Republicans.

“Unhinged loser @Gov Timwalz wants to form a” shadow government “in protest that it requires proof of citizenship for voter registration and forbid foreign nationals to interfere with elections,” said President Donald Trump’s social media team about X.
“Pls go so on, sir,” said our rep. Nancy Mace, RS.C., said.
The term ‘shadow government’ reflects a similar term used in the United KingdomWhere a part of the government creates a group of opposition leaders who reflect the actions of the cabinet to the power work.

That group “shadow” the other cabinet by investigating their actions and offering alternative solutions.
In another part of his comments, Walz admitted that he was set up by his 18-year-old son, Gus. “I had talked to one of that dad,” said Walz. “I gave my wisdom about what he had done wrong, you know, because I know these things, right, I am a father? And in the middle of that he gives me the old one,” says the man who has kicked his A ** by Donald Trump. ‘
