The United States will organize some important international sporting events in the coming years: the 2025 Ryder Cup, 2026 FIFA World Cup and the Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2028.
However, the country is not ready for all air travel that belongs to those events, the American travel association said in a report on Wednesday.
“Without immediate action, our outdated air travel system will press under pressure,” the report said.

The US Travel Association called for urgent modernization of air traffic control technology and solutions for the shortages of the Nation air traffic controller.
“America is staring at a historical opportunity – the question is whether we will take the moment or fall short,” said Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the US Travel Association.
