Ministry of Interior Security Kristi calls Sworn in Sean Curran on Monday to serve as director of the US secret service.
The curse ceremony took place in the Oval Office, where President Donald Trump And called Curran.
“Sean’s brave actions when he risked his life to save the life of President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania is proof of his dedication to the mission of the US secret service,” said in a statement. “With his decades of experience, he will return the secret service to concentrate on his core mission: the protection of American leaders and the American financial system.”
“I look forward to working with Sean to ensure that the secret service is stronger than ever before,” she added.

Curran was one of the group agents who hurried to the stage To protect Trump with their bodies during a failed murder attempt on July 13 in Butler who left two dead and the candidate with an injury to his ear.
Curran appeared next to Trump in a series of photos that the former and future president showed that turned up, ran blood over his face and held a fist, encouraged the cheers of the public.
Three bystanders were shot. They were firefighters Corey Comperatore50, who died of his injuries, David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, who both survived.

In the aftermath, Trump praised the members of his personal details and defended them against criticism.
“Trump wanted someone he could trust, and they clearly formed a bond after Pennsylvania,” said former secret service agent Bill Gage in January.

“Even with all the mistakes in Butler, the mistakes of the Advance team. The agents assigned to Trump and Curran performed exactly as trained.”
Curran maintains a low profile but is often depicted on the Trump side.

The attempt in Trump’s life led to an intense control of the American secret service and the resignation of director Kimberly Cheatle.
