Wales, Norway and Finland were among the latest countries to book their place at Euro 2025 this week, with the 16 qualifiers now decided.
The remaining seven qualifying playoff games took place on Tuesday night.
History was made inside the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, but not for the Republic of Ireland home team. Wales earned their place on the plane to Switzerland the following year after winning 2-1, marking the first time they had ever qualified for a major competition.
Norway’s 3-0 win over Northern Ireland also secured their place after a 4-0 opener, along with Finland beating Scotland 2-0 on aggregate, dashing Scotland’s hopes of ending the seven-year absence from this stage.
