Nominations were announced in December 2024 with hit series on FX and Hulu The bear leads the ranking with five nominations. Only murders in the building was just behind The Bear with four nominations, including best television series musical or comedy, best performance by an actor in a television series – musical or comedy for Steve Martin and Martin Short respectively, and for the best performance of a female role in a television series – musical or comedy for Selena Gomez.
The network that came out on top was Netflix with 36 nominations between film and television — the most of any distributor.
