Tuchel leaves three players from the team of first three Lions Matchday

Morgan Gibbs-White, Jarell Quansah and Aaron Ramsdale are left by the England team to face Albania tonight.

Thomas Tuchel assumes his first game in England at Wembley this afternoon and one of his first duties was to leave the trio.

UEFA rules stipulate that only 23 players can be selected for one accessory, with Boss New England calling 26 in their first team.

Nottingham Forest Gibbs-White Midfielder was a late call for the three lions after being drawn up to cover for the injured Cole Palmer.

Both Liverpool defender Quansah and Southampton Ramsdale goalkeeper were included in Tuchel’s original choice, nor will they play a role in the England World Cup campaign.

The BBC reports that Harry Kane would capture the side on Wembley this afternoon with Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham expected to start.

All eyes will be for Kane partners in attack, with Phil Foden, Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon pushing for a start.

Quansah’s omission should see Marc Guehi and Ezri Konsa selected in central defense, with Reece James competing with Tino Livramento and Kyle Walker for the right position and Dan Burn and Myles Lewis-Skelly on the left.

Jordan Pickford is expected to keep No1’s goal in the goal, but could face the competition from Crystal Palace Dean Henderson.
