President Donald Trump Speaked on Saturday with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about different issues, ranging from the war in Ukraine to the American border security.

In a statement released on Saturday evening, the White House said that Trump and Trudeau started the call by the 4 countries face-off Hockey tournament that Canada won, and both leaders “proudly expressed the excellence of the teams of both nations that had to deal with a hard -fought hockey championship.”

“The discussion focused on Monday’s G7 call that will mark the third anniversary of the invasion and war in Ukraine,” the statement added. “Prime Minister Trudeau repeated President Trump’s wish to put an end to the war and acknowledged that President Trump is the only world leader who can penetrate a just and lasting peace.

“President Trump reminded the Prime Minister that the war should never have started and that he would not have been president at the time.”

“I propose that the Trump government not only knows how many critical minerals we have, but that can even be why they keep talking about us and make us the 51st,” said Trudeau, according to CBC. “They are very aware of our resources, what we have, and they really want to be able to take advantage of that.”

Trump previously complained about the trade deficit that the US has with Canada and claims that “there is no reason” for such an imbalance.

“We don’t need anything they have,” Trump wrote about Truth Social. “We have unlimited energy, we have to make our own cars and have more wood than we can ever use. Without this huge subsidy, Canada ceases to exist As a viable country. Hard but true!

“That is why Canada should become ours Cherished 51st State, “ Trump added. “Much lower loads and much better military protection for the people of Canada – and no rates!”

On Thursday, Trudeau placed a brutal answer after Canada won the 4 Nations face-off.
