Democrats refused to clap For almost every moment of the joint address of President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening. That included when he honored the former volleyball player Payton McNabb, who sustained traumatic physical and mental injuries when she was injured by a transgender opponent in 2022.
Trump praised 19-year-old McNabb for overcoming her injuries, including concussion, brain blood and permanent whiplash, to become an advocate for protecting women and girls against biological men in their sport.
Trump concluded the segment by repeating his promise Lower federal financing For every American school that can compete against girls against girls.

McNabb told Fox News Digital that the response of Democrats was not surprising, but was still “heartbreaking”.
“Last night, in general, the Democratic party was so disrespectful,” said McNabb. “And they did not stand up for one of the guests, they did not stand up for DJ Daniel, who was the young boy who survived brain cancer, they did not stand up for the Van Laken Riley family, whose daughter literally suffered a traumatic death that should never have happened, and every other guest who had a kind of powerful story, and that didn’t have something for it.
“So it was heartbreaking, and to be honest I wanted me to say that I was surprised, but I am not.”
Most democratic conference women present Tuesday evening wore pink to protest against Trump to support women’s rights. However, those conference women chose to do that a day after the Senate Voted Democrats almost unanimously to block the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act.

The law would have contributed to a stricter precedent to keep transatatletes from the sport of women and girls throughout the country, because many states have so far refused to comply with the executive Order of Trump to tackle the issue. But no democratic senator voted to help the bill pass and Filibuster it to reach Trump’s office.
In an earlier interview, MCNABB sent a two -fold plea for the Senate Democrats With Fox News Digitaldays before the vote on Monday to consider voting for the bill. But instead, none of them voted up and instead wore pink to Tuesday’s address.
“The Democratic party failed women. They don’t care,” said McNabb. “Even with their own daughters, the fact that they have not passed this bill is just completely heartbreaking. I am not the only story, there are so many female athletes who have shared their story, and it is not as if they don’t know. It is insane that this is the hill they want to die of.
“It’s just sad … it’s just embarrassing.”
McNabb is not only in its conviction of the democrats present for their etiquette on Tuesday. Many conservatives on social media have not only taunted the present congress representatives, but also the guests who were in the gallery about not cheering for the guests, the decision to wear pink after blocking the account of Monday and waving small signs with challenging messages in protest.
One of the most controversial moments of the night came when Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, was extinguished after he had waved his stick and repeatedly shouted to Trump during the opening minutes of the speech.
He shouted, “You have no mandate,” in Trump when President Republican victories in the house, the Senate and the White House praised.

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., Had removed Groen by the American Sergeant at arms.
“They were embarrassing for their party and to the country as they acted with only respect,” said Mcnabb.
“The way in which the Democrats acted was a new low point for them … The only time they clapped was for Ukraine, what it told, but they clap or stand for literally something else … The drama and theatrics were certainly because of them.
Despite the heartache caused by the Democrats, MCNABB said that she is still “extremely grateful” because she attended and gained the experience to meet key figures in the party, including Second Lady Usha Vance, who was McNabb on Tuesday. She also had the chance to share her story with Border Tsar Tom Homan.
“It was incredible. This is the kind of things that I will remember for the rest of my life,” said Mcnabb.
