Trump sings rates for import from Canada, Mexico and China: ‘National Emergency’


The Trump administration Implement rates through its new International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

In a statement obtained by FOX News on Saturday, the White House said that the legislation comes in the midst of an ‘extraordinary threat of illegal alien beings and drugs, including deadly Fentanyl, forms a national emergency.

“President Donald J. Trump implements a 25% extra rate about the entry from Canada and Mexico and a 10% extra rate about the import from China. Energy sources from Canada will have a lower rate of 10%,” said the statement.
