Various Republican senators have undertaken problems with the American Bar Association (ABA) and asking president Donald Trump To take drastic action against the group. In a letter to ABA President William Bay, legislators said that the group, who plays a key role in judicial nominations, was “biased and captured ideologically.” Now those legislators want President Trump “to” completely remove the ABA from the judicial nomination process. “
Sen. Eric Schmitt, Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senator Josh Hawley, Senator Bernie Moreno and Senator Mike Lee also call on their colleague senators to “ignore the ABA’s recommendations”.

In the explosive letter there are allegations, including that the ABA has established political positions against the Trump government and that the group has been silent about taking money from USAID. The Federal Aid Group has been a target of the Trump government, something the ABA has criticized.
“The ABA states,” Americans expect better. “But President Trump won both election and popular voices.
Senator Schmitt tweeted the letter together with various criticism of the recent actions and statements of the ABA. In particular, Schmitt received the statements with statements published by the ABA on 10 and 3 March, both of which were critical of the Trump administration.
“It has been three weeks since the inauguration day. Most Americans acknowledge that newly chosen leaders are changing. That is expected. But most Americans also expect that changes will take place in accordance with the rule of law,” the ABA wrote in its statement of 10 February. In addition, the statement of 10 February condemns the ‘dismantling of USAID’.

The Senators Refer this statement in their letter and says that the ABA has made “inflammatory claims” against the Trump government “without leasing legal reasoning for those arguments.” One of these claims is that the “dismantling of USAID” is illegal, but the senators note that the ABA does not explain why these actions are not permitted under the law.
“The question is whether the ABA is dedicated to defend freedom or its own sources of financing,” the senators wrote, referring to the defense of the organization of USAID.

The legislators also criticized the ABA’s statement of 3 March in which the group of Slams claimed ‘efforts to undermine the courts’. In their letter, the legislators note that the association did not take any statements against former President Joe Biden when he defended the Supreme Court for forgiveness of student loans.
In their letter, the senators exclaim the implementation of the ABA of Diversity, fairness and inclusion Policy that the Trump government has worked to row from the government.
