Trump criticized President Biden’s last-minute policy decisions

Newly elected President Donald Trump has criticized the president Biden’s last-minute policy decisions Monday during an interview with Hugh Hewitt and knocked the president for making a “smooth transition” more difficult.

‘I just saw that Biden has banned all oil and gas drilling in 625 million hectares of US coastal area. It’s just ridiculous, I will lift the ban immediately, I have the right to lift the ban immediately, what’s going on? he does? Why is he doing it?” Trump said. “You know we have something that no one else has. No one has it to the extent that we have it, and by the time we’re done it will be even more, because I can expand.’

Biden announced the plan Monday and said he is using authority to protect offshore areas along the east and west coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and parts of Alaska’s northern Bering Sea from future oil and natural gas leasing.

Trump told Hewitt: “We have oil and gas at a level that no one else has, and we are going to take advantage of it. When I see someone say he’s going to ban 625 million hectares, he doesn’t know what that is. He doesn’t even know what 625 million acres would look like, and we can’t let that happen to our country. It is truly our greatest economic asset, and we will not let that happen to our country.”

“But you’re giving up the greatest assets we have. “I mean all that, if you haven’t looked at it on a map, which is 625 million acres, he’s giving all of this up,” Trump said. “The good news is I can change it immediately, it will change on day one.”

The president-elect also criticized Biden’s Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients, specifically George Soros, a Democratic megadonor.

Trump said the Biden administration was making things as difficult as possible for him.

‘They talk about a transition, they always say they want a smooth transition from party to party, from government. Well, they make it very difficult. They’re throwing everything they can in their way, ‘If we’re handing out trillions of dollars in nonsense, in Green New Deal nonsense, it’s not worth anything,'” Trump said, arguing that Biden was throwing money at people.
