A tropical cyclone On Saturday weakened to a tropical low weather system when the Brisbane, the third most densely populated city of Australia, approached, which brought floods to the coastal region.

Cyclones are common in the tropical north of Queensland, but are rare in the moderate and densely populated southeastern corner of the state borders on the state of New South Wales.
