Travis Kelce it can be up to the ears for a girlfriend Taylor Swiftbut that doesn’t mean he’s automatically ready to possibly walk down the wedding aisle during football season.
During the Wednesday, Jan. 8, episode of his hit podcast, “New Heights,” Travis, 35, and his brother Jason Kells answered a query about fall weddings as part of their No Stupid Questions segment.
“I don’t actually know people who have gotten married in the fall because all the weddings I’ve been to — my friends always do it in the summer,” he said in response to a caller who revealed his girlfriend wanted to get married in the fall , despite his insistence that he “will be at a football game.”
“You guys need to be more in sync about things,” Travis added, expressing his concern for the caller’s relationship dynamics and desire to find common ground. “You have to be ready, you know, to find a weekend where the team doesn’t play well with anybody.”
The Super Bowl champ also said he’s “seen weddings in February, I’ve seen weddings everywhere, but fall… I’m not so sure if fall is a good wedding season.”
Although Travis and Swift have been tight-lipped about their own relationship plans, others in their orbit were only too happy to chime in on where they think the couple’s romance is headed.

Jones also took issue with the conspiracy theory that the pair were not in a “real” relationship. “I think they’re in a real relationship,” he said. “I know Trav because he went to UC. His love (is true). When he says he’s with someone, he’s with someone.
Of Travis’ latest ex-girlfriend, Jones added that “he was with her and found something better and moved on.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Jones also praised the two for how their relationship has elevated Travis’ standing on and off the field. “I love it,” he said. “I wish I was this smart when I was young. What I’m saying is you see how many marketing deals he gets. You see how many jerseys he sells.”
Travis and Swift were first linked in September 2023 after the “Anti-Hero” singer was photographed at a Kansas City Chiefs game. In an interview for TIMEPerson of the Year, Swift, 35, has spoken out about her relationship for the first time.
“It all started when Travis very adorably turned me on to his podcast, which I thought was hell metal,” she said at the time. “We started dating right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew about, which I’m thankful for because we got to know each other. By the time I went to the first game, we were a couple.”
