It is another injury hit for Postcoglou, whose team has been decimated for much of the season, especially in defensive areas.
The return of Van de Ven is welcome, though Cristian Romero remains outdated along with the left -wing destiny Udogie.
Spurs signed Austrian defender Kevin Danso from the lens in the January window, but had an offer for Crystal Palace Marc Guehi’s captain rejected yesterday.
The northern London side goes to Liverpool on Thursday to the second leg of the EFL Cup semifinal, leading 1-0 from the first game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
