Tom Bradyalong with his former New England Patriots teammates Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, discussed Belichick’s interview with UNC on “Fox NFL Sunday,” where he was blunt about the fact that he didn’t believe Belichick would go to college football next season.

Brady thinks Belichick doesn’t want to deal with the recruiting side of things because he jokingly made up a scenario where his old coach was talking to a recruit.
“Listen, do you really want to come here?” said Brady, acting as Belichick. “I mean, we don’t really want you anyway, but I guess you could come, we’ll find out if you play.”
It wasn’t just Brady who felt Belichick wouldn’t translate well to college ball, as Edelman and Gronkowski voiced their opinions.

Belichick, after not getting another head coaching gig in the NFL after he and the Patriots parted ways earlier this year, has been in the sports media space all season.
However, according to Inside Carolina, Belichick interviewed for the job Mack Brown held with the Tar Heels.
Brown announced he would be leaving the program prior to the team’s final regular season game against NC State.
There are already a number of NFL coaching vacancies that need to be filled after this regular season, as the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Chicago Bears all fired their head coaches midseason. Several others could also open up depending on how these final games go.
