A WWE champion today has suffered an injury and will have to leave their title. A race for the championship has already been held and will be held soon.
WWE Nxt Roadblock is set for next month. The event will be a special episode of NXT and will take place at the Madison Square Garden theater. The event has already held several matches and one of the games is a double championship match where Giulia faces Stephanie Vaquer with a winner gets the whole line. The two are the Nxt Women’s Champion And the champion of North American women, respectively.
Most fans were overwhelmed when a winner gets all the race was suddenly booking. Now, a report by Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer (via Wrestletalk) has confirmed the reason that the race is closed. He revealed that one of the champions is injured and will lose the race to take time away from television and heal. Thus, the champion is forced to leave their title and the other WWE star will hold both zones.
“Without spoiling it, because if I spoil it, I spoil the race, one of these women hits, it takes time away. And so they do the race and then it takes time away. That happened.”
It does not spoil the result of the race, but another report by PW Insider said that Giulia is suffering from an injury.
