Liverpool’s captain Virgil van Dijk says it would also be difficult to beat Everton in the “Cup final”.
Reds and Tofffees played a thriller in the final conflict in Goodison Park before Everton moved to their new stage next season.
Liverpool had a 2-1 lead in the final seconds of the match, but was surprised by a late, slowly James Tarkowski Volley in the 98th minute, despite the fact that only five were initially added.
A long VAR review then allowed the goal to stand, causing chaos on and out of the stadium.
As full -time whistle broke, Abdoulaye Doucoure pushed and celebrated in front of Liverpool’s support and followed closely by a furious Curtis Jones, who got a mid -range fragment.
It challenged both players to be sent, with the Arne slot also appearing red for some words that the referee Michael Oliver after the whistle is said.
“We all know that this is the final of the Cup.”

Reflecting the game, Van Dijk admitted it was a difficult night, but Everton would always be difficult in what he called the biggest game of the season.
He said: “Intense, it would always be intense. Lots of battles. Very disappointing to admit the last second of the game, or even in extra time, but it is what it is. It is not easy to accept, especially in the way but the We take and move on.
“I think the referee played a big role in the game today in terms of some challenges were given as a foul and they were not like. In the end it is just frustrating to admit a very good strike, but a disappointing.
“This is the final of their cup and they would try to do everything possible to make it difficult for us. It’s a great boost for them, but a blow for us.
“We have a lot of games to the international break. We have put ourselves in a very good position and that is under hard work, quality and consistency. We just have to look at ourselves, not look at what others are doing, just try to try To focus on ourselves and be the best version of ourselves.
“We have put ourselves in a good position. Let’s continue.”
Van Dijk also commented on Tussle between Jones and Doucoure, once again pointing his finger to referee Oliver.
He added: “We saw how they celebrated the target, they have all the right.
“I think Abdoulaye Doucoure wanted to challenge our fans. I think that’s what I saw and Curtis Jones didn’t think it was the right thing. And then you know what’s going on if there’s a little hassle.
“I didn’t think the referee had the game under control. Both teams had to deal with it.”
