‘The View’ praises Jane Fonda for defending ‘Wakker’ at SAG Awards

“The View” Co-hosts praised liberal activist and Actress Jane Fonda On Monday after she gave a politically charged speech with the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, defensive to “wake up” and say about empathy.

“It also gave me inspiration because, you know, there are many people who are older who have protested in the past who now say, you know, we are tired. It is time for the young people to do it, and Jane Fonda remembered Just that you are never too old, that you are never too successful, “said Co-host Ana Navarro.

Navarro continued and praised Fonda for her beliefs, while sometimes he did not agree with the actress.

“This is a woman who protests and stands up for her beliefs. Sometimes I don’t agree with her, and it sometimes cost her. It has had big costs in her career and you don’t give up America. You don’t turn your back on To America.

Fonda defended to be “awake” during a speech during the SAG Awards and said, “Make no mistake, empathy is not weak or woke up. By the way, wake up just means that you are damn about other people.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin argued that the word “woke up” was copt by law and said in the African-American community, the term meant “recognizing inequalities for social justice, recognizing people’s suffering”.

“Back to empathy, many people will really be hurt by what happens, what is happening in our way. And even if they are of another political conviction, we have to invoke our empathy and not judge but listen from our hearts and welcome They in our tent, because we need a large tent to successfully resist what is coming up, “Fonda said.
