“Being a Middlebury College alum gives you power in this world. Use that collective power in this room can be that difference. First step, Middlebury. Then, in the world,” said Wood. “Here is one thing you can do. Open the pamphlets that people have handed out and promise to donate money that you would have to Midlebury to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.”
She concluded: “Until Middlebury demonstrates his dedication to give priority here and everywhere priority over profit through the repulsion of war victory, there is nothing as whole as a broken heart. Loving Middlebury means holding and ourselves responsible for our promises. To Grow together.
Earlier in her speech, Wood called the school because he was “long and beautiful” while schools in Gaza were destroyed.

“There is simply nothing that we as students at one of the eleven Nescacs (New England Small College Athletic Conference) earn that students from the eleven higher education institutions in Gaza do not also earn,” Wood said.
She also regretted the “heartbreaking” situation in which she and her fellow students are located after President Donald Trump returned to the office.
“We literally graduated from the same month as a fascist has been admitted. Within 11 days he has withdrawn from the Paris climate agreement for the second time, denied the existence of transgender people and unleashed a whole series of ice agents to arrest on average a thousand people Every day since they started, “Wood said.
