The Rock says ‘freedom is our greatest privilege’ during his visit to troops in Hawaii


Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson” is the people’s champion for a number of reasons, admitting that he is “forever a proud patriot” thanks to military personnel.

The star of the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise was overwhelmed with gratitude while visiting troops stationed in Hawaii.

“It is an absolute honor for me to once again return to the land of fear and spend time with our soldiers and their families at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam here in Oahu, Hawaii,” The Rock shared on social media.

He added: “God bless you and your families.

The legendary WWE wrestler then hosted a special screening of his latest film, “Moana 2.”

“What a privilege and honor it is to be back here on this base,” he told the packed audience. “I grew up here, on the other side of the island. As a child and teenager I did a lot of things I shouldn’t do.”

He added: “We are very excited about this film because it is about our culture, our people, our islands.”

Before leaving the stage, The Rock was presented with a joint base flag “as a token of appreciation.”

“I love you, thank you for your service, all of you. I love you so much,” he said.
