The leaders were expected to sign a deal that share the rare earth minerals of Ukraine and discuss a peace agreement with Russia when the conversation was controversial.
After questions were asked by Zenskyy about diplomacy, Vice President JD Vance reprimanded him for “Try (ING) to litigate” for the American media and called his actions “disrespectful”.
“You think it is respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that tries to prevent the destruction of your country,” asked Vance Zenskyy.

Sources close to Zenskyy noted that the tensions were high prior to the meeting, Fox News Digital reported earlier.
Zolenskyy reportedly rejected the mineral security agreement before the Friday meeting due to the absence of security guarantees that protects Ukraine against another Russian invasion.
Although the Ukrainian president warned that he would need those guarantees to sign the deal, sources said that the dismissal made Trump and Vance angry.
Only a few minutes after reporters asked their first questions, the heated disagreement unfolded.

Reporters watched in shock while the meeting stopped abruptly and Zenskyy was rushed out of the White House.
Minutes later Trump placed social on the truth and said: “President Zenskyy is not ready for peace when America is involved, because he feels that our involvement gives him a big advantage of negotiations. I don’t want an advantage, I want peace.”
Zenskyy then placed X, thanked America and Trump for their support and allowing the visit.
“Ukraine needs just and permanent peace, and we work exactly for that,” he wrote in the post.

Markarova was an ambassador for about a year when Russia invaded Ukraine and put her in the spotlight.
In September, Fox News Digital Exclusive reported That house speaker Mike Johnson wrote a letter to Zenskyy looking for the dismissal of Markarova after reporting a tour of an American production site for Zenskyy, which was funded by the American taxpayer, financed by the American taxpayer, in Pennsylvania, An important battlefield state, prior to the 2024 presidential election.
Johnson, R-La., said the tour “deliberately excluded” republicans and called the “election interference”.

“The facility was in a politically disputed battlefield state, was led by a top political surrogate for Kamala Harris and could not record any republican because – in intention – no republicans were invited,” Johnson wrote in the letter.
He said that the “short -sighted and deliberate political movement” led the Republicans to “lose confidence” in the ability of Markarova to serve as a diplomat honestly and effectively.
