The cause of the fire was not immediately known. The Ministry of Transport said the aircraft is an A321 model.

Tuesday’s incident came a month after one Jeju air passenger plane Crashed at Muan International Airport in southern South Korea and killed two of all 181 people on board. It was one of the deadliest disasters in the aviation history of South Korea.

The Boeing 737-800 took off the airport on December 29 after the landing gear could not be implemented, hit a concrete structure and burst into flames. The flight returned from Bangkok and all victims were South Koreans, except for two Thai subjects.

The first report for the crash released on Monday said that the authorities have confirmed traces of bird attacks in the motorcycle engines, although officials have not determined the cause of the accident.
