King Charles LLL Looks at music in times of sorrow and joy.
On Friday his Majesty shared a message about the royal family Official Instagram -page Announcement of his new collaboration with Apple Music, a playlist with the title The King’s Music Room – with some of his favorite artists and songs.
“Throughout my life music has meant a lot to me. I know that is also the case for so many others,” King Charles said in the Instagram video.

“It has that remarkable ability to bring happy memories that are reflected from the deepest recesses of our memory, to comfort us in times of sorrow and to bring us to distant places. But perhaps it can deliberately elevate our mind, and all the more when it brings us together in celebration. It brings us joy,” he added.
“Bringing beloved artists from the entire Commonwealth, the King has shared a selection of songs that brought him joy in ‘The King’s Music Room’ to mark Commonwealth Day 2025,” was the caption. “Recorded in Buckingham Palace, offers his Majesty Anecdotes of his personal experiences when explaining why each song was chosen.”
