Aston Villa went to third in the Champions League rankings, as a slow -winning Ross Barclay hit, gave her a victory in a wonderful game in Germany.
Villa was led early through leader John McGinn, but Lois Openda tied when Emiliano Martinez was out of the Villa goal.
Unai Emery introduced Supersub Jhon Duran in the half and took just seven minutes to leave his mark and hit Villa again.
Duran had another offside exclusion and a few moments after the goal was overthrown, Christof Baumgartner equalized.
The second half with the Rollercoaster saw Barkley coming off the bench to win and send Villa third, five points behind the top Liverpool.
The first eights automatically qualify for the next phase and with the games with Monaco and Celtic coming, Emery’s men are a good bet to avoid the need for a round of playoffs in their first attack on this event.

Villa was preceded when Matty Cash, who was playing in a more advanced position on the right, crossed Ollie Watkins, who nodded on the McGinn trail and the ruler was not mistaken.
This gave the guests confidence and had several opportunities in the first 15 minutes to complete the game.
Lucas Digne’s cross from the left was bent over, but Watkins was unable to get in touch closely and then Morgan Rogers shot directly to Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
Subsequently, Youri Tielemans was with time and space on the edge of the area from Watkins’s tee-up, but the international Belgian was disappointing.
All this good work was canceled in the 27th minute, however, as Martinez remained reddish.
The Argentine was waiting too occasionally to pick up Nicolas Seiwald’s distant ball and Openda pinched to get the ball first and hit an empty net.
Duran was introduced to the break and was called upon to drive forward and fired a 25 yard shot, before Baumgartner repelled a volley from the far -back to the end and in the corner.
Lucas Digne brought a repulsion from Peter Gulacsi and then OPENDA shot Martinez straight away as well as both sides pushing for the winner.
It was the villa he managed as Barclay saw his attempt to divert Gulaci with the wrong foot and hit the back of the nets.
