The Ministry of Defense Could save up to $ 80 million in waste expenditure by loosening a handful of diversity, equity and inclusion (dei) programs, the agency said Monday.
The Ministry of Defense has collaborated with the Elon Musk-guided Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) when reducing waste expenditure, said Dod spokesperson Sean Parnell in a video placed on social media.
Parnell mentioned some of the first findings marked by Doge, much of IT consisting of millions of dollars that were given to support various dei programs, including $ 1.9 million for holistic dei transformation and training in the Air Force and $ 6 million at the University of Montana to “strengthen American democracy”.

One of the first findings was $ 1.6 million for the University of Florida To study the social and institutional disadvantage of vulnerability in resilience against climate dangers in Africa.
“This stuff is simply not a core function of our army,” said Parnell. “This is not what we do. This stuff is a distraction from our core mission.”
“We believe that these first findings will probably save $ 80 million in wasteful expenses,” he added.

In an attempt to subject expenditure, Minister of Defense Pete Hegseeth Determined the civilian staff file of the DOD to meet the e -mail from Musk’s Doge Productivity, with a list of five things they have achieved after they initially told that they should not answer.
Last week Hegseeth said that his agency would collaborate with Doge, which carried out reviews of the Treasury, Labor, Education and Health Departments, as well as at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Persnel Management and Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
He added that many doge employees are veterans, and it is a “good thing” that they will find shortcomings.

“They only give it, like us, to find the dismissals and to identify the last remains of Biden priorities – the Dei, The Woke, The Climate Change BS, that’s not the core of our mission, and we’ll all lose it,” said Hegseeth.
Doge has been examined, with some accusing President Donald Trump of Musk to give too much leeway and access to sensitive data.
