A federal district judge, established in DC, ruled on Saturday evening that President Donald Trump fired the head of the office of special counselor, and kept him in his position. Shortly thereafter, the Trump government submitted their notification of appeal.
Hampton Dellinger, appointed by former President Joe Biden to Leiden’s office in Leiden, has sued the Trump administration in Washington, DC, Federal court after his shooting of 7 February.
Supreme Court pauses Trump’s efforts to dismiss the head of whistleblower protection
Judge Amy Berman Jackson of DC wrote in the Saturday that the court’s ruling that the resignation of Dellinger was “illegal” is consistent with the precedent of the Supreme Court.

The Trump government submitted its labor force to the US Court of Appeal for the District of Columbia Circuit shortly after Jackson’s ruling.
Jackson wrote that the court ‘finds that the elimination of the restrictions on the claimant’s removal would be fatal for the determining and essential characteristic of the Office of Special Counsel, as it was conceived by the congress and signed by the president in the law: its independence. The court concludes that they should be. “
Jackson has imposed the defendants in the court case, including director of the United States Office of Management and Budget Russ Vought and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and ordered them to recognize the function of Dellinger. Jackson did not stop Trump.

“It would be ironic to say the least, and elusive to the goals that have been promoted by the status if the special counsel himself can be cooled in his work for fear of random or partisan removal,” Jackson wrote.
Jackson’s decision comes after the American Supreme Court paved the efforts of the Trump government to dismiss Dellinger. The Trump government had asked the Supreme Court to cancel the temporary restoration of a lower court of Dellinger.
