The 2024-25 NFL season is officially in the books and the Eagles of Philadelphia are the Super Bowl champions.
Philly dominated the whole game and the final score was not indicative of how much the competition was. After all, the KC did not get on board until it falls behind 34-0.
With the big game now in our mirror, let’s take a look at some of the most important routes from Super Bowl Lix.
Eagles were the best team in NFL this year
Several franchises had an affair to be the best team in NFL. The Detroit Lions had their best season in a 15-3 franchise history, but were relegated to the playoffs and lost to Washington commanders despite having an advantage at home. Kansas City leaders returned to the third consecutive Super Bowl, but people will only remember the Beatdown they suffered in the big game. Buffalo Bills arrived at the AFC Championship and General Josh Allen won the MVP, but the loss of postseason leaders will haunt Mafia accounts for years.
Indeed, the best team in the National Football Federation this year was the Super Bowl Philadelphia Eagles champion. It was one of the four best teams in the league during the regular season and was easily the best team in the playoffs. Therefore, Philly must be regarded as the undisputed best team in NFL this season.
Sometimes the best team doesn’t win the Super Bowl, but that didn’t happen here. With an 18-3 record, the Eagles had the most wins of any team in the league this season. Philly also had a top-ten offense (seventh in points per game) and a top-ten defense (second in points per game permitted). These units were even better in the playoffs (first in scoring the offense, the third in the defense).
Eagles are the best team in NFL and should be considered as favorites to win the Super Bowl LX next year in Santa Clara, California.
This season was a failure for the leaders
Normally, a 17-2 record and a Super Bowl show would consider a successful season for 31 other NFL teams. But this is not the case for Kansas City leaders.
After Super Bowl wins, just getting to the big game is no longer good enough. Players, coaches and fans are waiting for KC to be the first team to win three straight Lombardi trophies. However, this dream is now dead, and there is a chance that the leaders will never see the leaders having such a run again.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure KC and Patrick Mahomes will return it to Super Bowl. I just don’t think they will ever win three consecutive Super Bowl wins. Hell, I don’t know if I’ll ever see it in my life.
I do not defame the dynasty of the leaders. They have won three more Super Bowls over the last six years, one of the best routes we’ve ever seen in the National Football Federation. With that in mind, however, the only way the season will be considered as a success was that KC became the first team to win three straight Lombardi trophies. With the disorientation of these expectations, I believe that this season was a failure for the leaders.
Kansas City had a good team this year, but it never looked great. Despite their record, the leaders were only good-not big-in-law (fourth in the standings) and only a team of the road offensively (15th in the score). If they had put seeming numbers and looked like the best offense or defense in the NFL throughout the season, then this loss would be a little more enjoyable. But given that this was an unsatisfactory year statistically, and they didn’t, I think it’s a failed time for KC.
Put some respect in the name Jalen Hurts’
It’s time to start talking about Jalen hurts the way we talk about Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. If the measurement stick for Quarterbacks in NFL wins, then Hurts is at worst the second best NFL general behind Mahomes.
Ever since he entered the National Football Federation, Hurts has won 46 games in 66 regular season starts. This is equivalent to a 0.697%victory rate, the tenth highest sign of all time for a Quarterback NFL with at least 60 starts. It also improved at 6-3 in Postseason and won the Super Bowl MVP prices last night, making it one of the two active Quarterbacks to win this award.
His last year’s shipyard -he might have been at the lower end, but Hurts still ended the year tied to Jayden Daniels and Patrick Mahomes for the league championship to spend the Touchdowns (five). Pull in another five hasty touchdowns, and look at the most productive quarterback in the 2025 NFL playoffs. Patrick Mahomes was the next-Closest QB to hurt with seven total TDs after the period.
The most frightening place for all this: Hurts is only 26 years old. It’s not even 27, but they were already in two super bowls and won one of them. But ask any Seahawks or Packers fan, it’s hard to win a lot of super bowls. After winning one, there is no guarantee that you will even return to another. However, Hurts has a contract by the end of the 2026-27 season and the eagles seem ready to make another run next season.
I have the feeling that this will not be the last time we see Jalen hurting Trophy Lombardi. In the meantime, start looking at the lesions as an equivalent of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.
Saquon Barkley just had the best season ever with a run back
We all knew that Saquon Barkley was extremely talented. However, his skills were lost by New York giants. If General Manager Joe Schoen interrupted the money that Barkley asked for out of season, he would still be lost in New York and not in a Super Bowl champion in Philadelphia.
With the victory of Super Bowl Lix, I think it’s safe to say that Saquon Barkley has completed the best year we’ve ever seen from a run back.
During the regular season, Barkley ran for 2,005 meters in 16 games, making only the ninth running back to NFL history to rush for 2,000+ meters in a single season. If Barkley played on week 18, he could have broken Eric Dickerson’s record with 2,105 meters.
At the end of the day, however, it was a clever decision for Barkley to sit down the final game of the regular season because it allowed him to be healthy and prepared for the playoffs. This allowed Barkley to hurry for 499 meters in the postseason, bringing his whole one in a season to 2,504 meters. This represents a new one-season NFL record as it overcame the Famer Terrell Davis room, which ran for 2,476 meters during the regular season and the playoffs.
If you ask Saquon, he won’t tell you he cared to break the records. The only thing he was interested in was winning his first Super Bowl.
“It was a one -year hell, but all the numbers and statistics or files are cool, but it is best to be able to keep this Lombardi trophy,” Barkley told The Associated Press.
The good news for Saquon: He got the Lombardi Trophy and the record. Now this is impressive.
This was a bad Super Bowl
Now that the dust is installed, I think we can all admit that Super Bowl Lix was forgotten if you weren’t for Philadelphia Eagles.
There were many problems with the 2025 Super Bowl. First and most important, the game was boring. It was a bump basically all the way. The leaders scored two touchdowns in the last three minutes of the competition. Before these TDs, the score was 40-6. Not exactly a barn burner from any stretching of imagination.
The game was not a single hit of the epic proportions. The 18 -point victory is tied to the 16th bigger win in a Super Bowl. If KC did not notice these late TDS, it would be the fifth biggest points difference in the history of Super Bowl.
The ads were not wonderful. Some of them (Stella Artois “David & Dave: the other David“NFL”Flag 50“Little Caesars”Oh!“And Hellmann’s”When Sally met with Hellmann’s“) Was funny and cute, but there weren’t really that really stood out for me as really great. We had nothing like the”1984“Apple Commercial or Betty White is crushed during a football football game.
Even the half -time was okay. Kendrick Lamar gave an excellent performance, but if you are not a fan of rap music, then this half probably didn’t call you a call.
Between the explosion, the half -time and the unburning ads, the Super Bowl Lix has been one of the worst Super Bowls we have had in recent years.
