The year brought success stories Bachelor Nation with Joey Graziadei asking the question of Kelsey Anderson during the The Bachelor season 28, which began airing in January. The first ever Golden Bachelorette, Ioan Vassosalso accepted a proposal from Chalk Chapel.
“After John died, I felt like my future was this black hole,” Vassos exclusively said Us Weekly of her late husband in Nov cover story. “And now it just looks so bright. The possibilities are endless for us. Which is a weird thing to say at this age, but that’s how I feel.
While both couples are still going strong, some Hollywood stars had memorable romances that didn’t last. A-list Andrew Garfield, on the one hand, was spotted approaching the Dr. Kate Thomas on a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham.
Months later, Thomas – who describes herself as a “professional witch” – denied rumors that she uses magic to seduce Garfield. In October, Thomas revealed that she and Garfield “they broke up months ago” spell or not.
