“Our whole family — we’re horror fans,” Ice-T, 66, said Us Weekly extremely, explaining why he is obsessed with Terrible 3. “It pushed the envelope to the point where (9-year-old daughter) Chanel dressed up as a character for Halloween.”
The Terrifying movie series, which originally premiered in 2016is a slasher film that tells the story of Art the Clown — and yes, he kills people. Ice-T’s daughter dressed as its own version of Art in October 2024, to his wife, Coco AustinInstagram on. The Law and Order: SVU the star also stepped into the role of a killer clown for the holiday. Everyone seems to have been inspired by this truly scary movie.
When it comes to music, which Ice-T is obviously good at with a prolific rap career behind him, the artist is a big fan of The Delfonics.
An old-school band, great music – it’s from when people really sang, you know, three-part harmony,” he explained to us. “It just reminds me of growing up.”

However, Ice-T’s interests go beyond horror movies – and old ones. He can’t stop looking either American greed.
“It’s a show about white-collar crime and just being greedy,” Ice-T explained us. “They’re taking people’s IRA savings, they’re taking old people’s money. They are cold.”
It’s a real wonder Ice-T finds time to sit back and relax as he’s still starring as Sergeant Odafin “Finn” Tutuola in SVUa role he has held since 2000. The show is in its 26th season, and according to Ice-T, he has no plans to stop starring in the NBC series.
“I see no reason why SVU can’t go 30 (seasons),” he said us exclusively in June 2024. “I think the show will last as long as it does Marishka (Hargitay) wants to do the show. This is her show.
Even Ice-T thinks Law & Order: Special Victims Unit characters Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler deserve a love story. “Y’all still not hooking up?” Ice-T, 65, quipped to actor Mariska Hargitay during an interview with Entertainment Weekly published Monday, Feb. 5, about Benson and Stabler’s onscreen relationship. “Close, right? At that time, the cast was still at a high level their milestone 25th season. Of course, Ice-T is currently in Season 26 with the rest of the cast — and they’ve got a flood of new viewers.
“I think last season we caught a whole different wind of fans and everyone got into it and the ratings were great,” Ice-T added usnoting that he was “very happy” that audiences were still watching.
Law & Order: SVU season 26 airs on NBC on Thursdays at 9pm ET and airs the following day on the Peacock.
