Stranded Astronaut Barry “Butch” Wilmore believes the claims of Elon Musk that Joe Biden refused to carry Rescue Mission


Barry “Butch” Wilmore, one of the astronauts stranded at the international space station, said statements by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk who suggested that former president Joe Biden refused to save them, although he admitted that he did not know the nature of the closed doors.

Wilmore and fellow -astronaut Suni Williams Launched from their Boeing Starliner -Space Varitage in June 2024 for a mission that only lasts eight days. However, after the spacecraft has experienced technical problems and NASA decided it unsafe to come back to Earth with the astronauts on board, his Wilmore and William’s for months detained at the international space station.

Wilmore said that he trusted Musk, who previously told Sean Hannity of Fox News on 18 February that Biden left the astronauts in space for ‘political reasons’.

“I can only say that Mr. Musk, what he says, is absolutely actually actually … I believe him,” Wilmore said on Tuesday during an in-orbit press conference, according to the New York Post.

Nevertheless, Wilmore later admitted that he had no knowledge of first hand in conversations that took place to get their salvation.

“However, we have no information about that,” said Wilmore. “What was offered, which was not offered, to whom it was offered, how that process went. That is information that we just don’t have.”

A Biden spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.

The dragon of SpaceX is planned to start a rescue mission on Wednesday and to arrive at a space station to pick up Wilmore and Williams, according to NASA.

“Elon (Musk) is now preparing a ship to go up and get them”, President Donald Trump Reporters told Thursday. “We love you, and we come up to get you, and you shouldn’t have been there that long.”
