Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller of the White House closed the Hoorns at CNN -Gastheer Jake Tapper on Tuesday, with the argument that liberal news organizations have misunderstood the freezing of certain federal funds of the Trump government.
The Office of Management and Budget has issued a memo On Monday, all federal subsidies and loans that are not consistent with the executive orders of the president to eradicate “woking” and the “weapons of the government”.
However, an official of the White House told Fox News Digital That the memo was initially “incorrectly reported” and no financing freezes on federal financial assistance across the board.
Tapper pressed Miller to answer the uncertainty surrounding the guidance, asking whether Medicaid and meals would be hit on wheels, although both were exempt earlier in the day.

White House Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller Locked Hoorns with CNN -Gastheer Jake Tapper about a recent White House initiative.
Miller argued that every confusion about the memo ‘by the media’ was created, and said, “The Omb guidance memo, when you read it, is as clear as day.”
He emphasized that the freezing does not apply to rights or other services that the government is obliged to offer and to say: “It has no influence on a service to citizens, it has no influence on an individual advantage, a public utility or something of this nature. “
“I can’t help it if left -wing media published a fake new story that caused confusion,” said Miller.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” said Tapper, pointing to Republicans who have also recognized confusion about the memo.
Tapper said that the order is “quite broad and confusingly written” and that the confusion about it cannot only be blamed for the “liberal media”.
“A false story was published to which people responded,” Miller argued.

“As the memo says, no financial income programs for Americans are affected in black and white letters. No individual utilities are affected. It is in black and white” White house Officially added later. “We have always known that the media would run fake stories, to try to create controversy, try to create scandal. I don’t say, Jake.”
When Tapper again spoke about public confusion about this initiative, Miller replied: “I am sorry that the media falsely reported about this story.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about in terms of false reporting. It is a widely written executive order,” Tapper argued.
“You have merged two different things,” Miller said, explaining that after the executive orders of Trump last week, left-wing employees of the officials tried to finance their “pets projects” with discretional subsidies, so OMB guidance was written to prevent this .
“You would not believe that the payments we had to pause in recent days with bureaucrats that tried to lead money out of the door,” he claimed and said that these projects should go under a political assessment process to be held responsible by taxpayers.

“Either Donald Trump gets political control over this government and ends the waste, abuse and fraud for the American people, or we leave bureaucrats federal expenditure autopilot,” said Miller.
