Ixtepan-Toto was released on local charges and detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on December 9.

An affidavit filed on December 12 by a deportation officer stated that Ixtepan-Toto’s immigration file showed that He was deported In May 2020, November 2022 and February 2024.

“There is no record that Ixtepan ever obtained permission from the Attorney General of the United States or his successor, the Director of Homeland Security, to readjust to the ins or ices for admission to the United States after being arrested and deported,” statement said.
