One person is dead and several others are injured after a shooting in a cosmetic factory in Ohio, according to the local police.

The city of New Albany, Ohio, Posted on her website that the police responded to an “active shot situation” in the KDC/One Manufacturing Plant just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

An update that was placed on the city website around 2:30 am, said that officers had finished evacuating employees from the building. Jones said about 150 people were evacuated to a neighboring building.

The investigation remains in the initial phase and authorities ask everyone with information about the suspect or the incident to call them on 614-855-1234.
