SEAN HANNITY: The government needs to be honest with us

Fox News host Sean Hannity gives his thoughts on the White House’s response to mysterious drone sightings in his opening monologue Monday on “Hannity.”

SEAN HANNITY: If your government didn’t know, if they didn’t know and the first sighting was almost a month ago, don’t you think there would be a greater sense of urgency? Look, I really believe, I hope so Donald Trump is right. But that lack of urgency and inaction around the drones would be quite frightening if they are in fact a mystery to our government, our military and our intelligence community. Think about that.

MORE THAN 20 DAYS INTO THE PHENOMENON, THE PENTAGON STILL HAS NO ANSWERS ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF MYSTERIOUS NJ DRONES

How scary would it be if your government, our military and our intelligence apparatus didn’t know where these drones came from, who serves them and what are their options? They are the size of school buses. These aren’t the baby drones your neighbor might fly around the neighborhood with as a hobby.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have been raising serious alarm bells about these objects in the sky. But the message from the federal government is here, there, everywhere, in complete denial. If this is some kind of government test, they should adhere to it. They have to be honest with all of you. If this is any other security operation, they need to tell all of you, the American people, if we are in danger.

We have the right and must be informed. It is completely unacceptable for our government to play dumb as it does. Now, there is a clear pattern of government dishonesty even when American lives are at stake. So you know enough about the act. It’s time for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to tell the truth and embrace honesty for once, just once.
