Scotland director Steve Clarke says there is still work after a 1-0 play-off victory over Greece in Athens.
Scott Mctominay scored a penalty and the Scots could go further in a spectacular appearance.
But 17 -year -old Konstantinos Karetsas came and triggered devastation, with Greece unfortunate not to overcome it for a return foot to Hampden Park on Sunday.
Scotland is trying to stay in Championship A, while the Greeks are trying to get out of the B championship after the second one behind England and in front of the Republic of Ireland and Finland.
Clarke said: “Game, it’s still open. I don’t see the game closing at all.
“I thought the Greeks were good in the second half. Their home file is good in the stages of the team.
“We showed real determination.”

“They went to Ireland and won comfortably. They went to Finland and won comfortably and went to Wembley and won, so the game is still open.
“I thought the first half were great. We played the ball around very well. He created some good chances. It might have been ahead of the half.
“To be fair to the Greeks, they came out the second half and took us for us and stopped playing.”
