Salman Ali Agha sheds light on Pakistan’s missed opportunities against New Zealand that cost them the game. He thinks that the slow start to Powerplay, in which Pakistan scored just 22 runs in 10 overs, cost them the game.

Salman Ali Agha implies Pakistan’s strong return against India
While speaking to reporters after the race, Salman Ali Agha accepted the defeat and thought that Pakistan was not at the best possible for New Zealand. However, he expects his team to make a strong return, as every day is a new day.
“Our game wasn’t up to the sign. We didn’t appear as expected. This is part of the game. We will try to forget it as soon as possible and to focus on the next match. It’s a big game and we” will try to perform better.
The fight against India is exerting additional pressure in Pakistan, as the whole country wants to win the fight against architects.
The high-voltage conflict has been particularly expected for months and the Pakistan-or-Die condition makes it even more important to them.
Salman Ali Agha talks about the absence of Fakhar Zaman on top
Salman Ali AGHA was further asked if the team lost Fakhar Zaman’s opener at the top. He admitted that Fakhar’s aggressive stroke was lost in Powerplay and did not get a good start at the top.
“As I said, Powerplay didn’t go as planned and you can say that Fakhar’s absence is also a point because you will see in the last 5-6 years, or even more than that, Fakhar (Zaman) is such a Power Player in Our team, who uses Powerplay.
“At Powerplay, we didn’t even have 30 runs, so if we don’t have many trips, then it’s hard. Then, when I came, I had the idea that I had to go for a ball and get the high risk.
Fakhar Zaman suffered an injury during the first appearances of the race and immediately left the field. He did not return to the field for more than two hours and was therefore prevented from hitting for the first 20 minutes of Pakistan’s entries.
Pakistan’s hit is badly crafted
In place of Fakhar, Saud Shakeel opened the stroke with Babar Azam. But the move didn’t work as Shakeel was rejected for just 6 of 19 balls. Governor Mohammad Rizwan was also rejected cheaply for just 3 of 14 balls.
Fakhar Zaman came to the bat at No. 4, however, he didn’t look at his best and struggled to score freely. He played some impressive shots, but eventually came out of his misery by Michael Bracewell, who took his big wicket for 24 out of 41 balls.
Baba Azam stayed until the 34th, but was unable to seal his power. He took 64 out of 90 balls. Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah played quickly, but they were not enough to carry Pakistan beyond the line.
