Reid played College Football in Stanford before the Houston Texans selected him in the third round of the NFL Draft 2018. He left Houston after the 2021 season and joined the Chiefs.

Reid and the Chiefs were short of the search to win three consecutive Super Bowls. The Eagles dominated the Chiefs in Super Bowl Lix last month. The 40-22 victory marked the second time in history that the Eagles won the Vince Lombardi trophy.
