The Deadpool star took to social media on Wednesday, January 22 to share photos via his Instagram story on a field trip to Harvard Business School. During the event he and Shark tank guest star Matt Higgins spoke to the students of the prestigious college.
“If my dad was even a little bit alive to see me speak at Harvard Business School, he’d be pretty impressed,” Reynolds, 48, wrote via the caption, mentioning his late father, James Chester Reynolds.
Using his trademark humor, Reynolds then quipped: “More so because of my sudden vibrancy. But also, what an opportunity to hold onto love AND see your child speak at Harvard.”
“Thank you (Matt Higgins) for the thoughtful conversation and play,” was the caption of another photo from his Harvard visit. “This class has a megawatt of talent. Only the questions made me wiser.”
The Marvel star’s Harvard speaking event comes amid ongoing It ends with us legal battle which sees Reynolds and Lively, 37, against Baldoni, 40.
lively Baldoni judged in a December 2024 lawsuit, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment, creating a “hostile work environment” and causing her “severe emotional distress” while working together. (Baldoni denied all allegations in the lawsuit obtained by Us Weekly.)

After the news broke via New York Times, Baldoni was among the 10 plaintiffs who days later filed a $250 million lawsuit against the publication for its coverage of Lively’s allegations. (Speaker of New York Times said us that the outlet plans to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit.”)
Lively sued the same day against Baldoni in New York federal court, which echoes her earlier lawsuits — which were filed with the California Division of Civil Rights.
Baldoni’s atelier filed a new lawsuit on Thursday, January 16 against Lively, Reynolds and Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloanseeking $400 million in damages. The suit includes allegations of civil extortion, defamation, invasion of privacy and other claims.
A few days later, on Tuesday, January 21, Baldoni’s lawyer, Brian Friedman, released footage behind the footage from It ends with us in an attempt to disprove Lively’s side of the story.
In response, Lively and Reynolds filed a letter in court on the same day, seeking a protective order to prevent Baldoni’s attorney from engaging in “misconduct,” such as an alleged “harassing and oppressive media campaign” against the couple.
