The movement Against transgender athletes in women’s and girls’ sports, support from the majority of Americans, politicians in power and even a niche-consumer market. Now one of the leaders of that movement calls for a number of large Star-driven reinforcements.
Former NCAA -Zwemmer and Conservative influencer Riley Gaines Has been one of the most active proponents of the movement, dating from her notorious draw with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas at the NCAA championships 2022. In 2024 Gaines became the first brand ambassador for the activist sports clothing brand XX -xy Athletics.
The brand became known and profitability by becoming the first sportswear company that focuses on promoting activism against transgender intake in women’s sports. It also created financial incentives for women’s school athletes throughout the country to take a position on the issue by signing the brand.

Gaines believes that two stars can help to push the brand and the movement to new heights.
“People I think it would be crucial for this movement are of course people like Caitlin Clark, people like Simone Biles, which I think is definitely a piece, but these are women who are able to break glass ceilings and break barriers, those role models for young girls in the entire country,” Gaines Digital told FOX in the Fox news.
The transgenderism in the sport shifted the 2024 elections and a national counterculture was aware
“To make them explicitly say that they do not belong to women’s sports, the issue would be resolved at all levels, as yesterday, if they were willing to do this.”
Gaines said that it is “not so far out of reach” if it sounds as a result of a cultural shift among Americans to protect women and girls against transgender athletes.
XX-XY founder Jennifer Sey, a former American gymnast and Levi’s director, addressed Gaines’ pitch to Clark and Biles in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“We always encourage more female athletes to participate in the fight. And we would like to work with everyone who stands up for the integrity of women’s sports. We are constantly in conversations with those who have risen or are considering doing this,” Sey said. “We believe that this ends when the athletes defend the sports sports in large numbers.”
Sey earlier told Fox Business Her brand surpassed a seven -digit win in the first 10 months in 2024, but she still believes that her brand is missing a superstar ladies athlete as a brand ambassador.
“There is no top -competitive female athlete or coach that has emerged for the protection of women’s sports,” Sey said.
“We currently have no competing top athletes who have spoken. I think this is an illustration of how far we should go. It should be normal for them to get up and say:” I will fight for the protection of women’s sports, “and yet not because I think much of them are afraid of being called terrible names.”
Gaines and Sey say that the brand is “in conversation” with prominent female athletes, including Olympians.
“They are in the making and (there are) conversations with many great athletes, Olympians and beyond,” said Gaines.

However, resistance to opposite trans-inclusion in women’s sports has led to intimidation and even crime against athletes involved in the movement, including XX-Xy Athletics Brand Ambassadors.
Former San Jose State University Ladies Volleyball Co-Captain Brooke Slusser, who signed with the brand after she had spoken to her school and the NCAA, with reference to her experience with transgender teammate Blaire Fleming in the fall, Fox News Digital told her that she had to Leave the campus This semester has after being harassed and threatened for her beliefs.
Slusser’s former SJSU assistant coach, Melissa Batie-Smoose, who appeared in the recent “We see you ncaa” advertisement of XX-xy Athletics, Her home shot up In February and believes that she was the target of pronouncing the alleged favoritism of Fleming from the university.
“It’s crazy what we have seen from the other side,” said Gaines. “But it doesn’t have the chokehold that once did.”
