The Georgia House has recently been the “Riley Gaines Act”, “ The aim is to prohibit transgender athletes against biological girls and women.
The bill is named after Gaines, the host of the podcast “Gaines for Girls” on Outkick, who has been a champion for keeping biological men from girls and women’s sports since he competes against Lia Thomas, a transzemmer who won one NCAA title three years ago.

While all 54 noos came from Democrats, three of them voted to pass; Zero Republicans voted no and of the 10 who did not vote, nine were Democrats.
The measure goes to the Senate, who has adopted its own individual legislation.
“Female athletes deserve fair competition and that means the chance to maintain the women’s divisions that differ from men’s categories,” said Republican Rep. Josh Bonner from Fayetteville, the sponsor of the bill.

Georgia’s High School Athletic Association is currently prohibiting transgender students from participating in sport based on their gender identity; 25 other states have laws that limit sports participation by transatletes.
Democratic Rep. Karla Drenner of Avondale Estates said that the bill “calculated, dangerous, deeply discriminatory piece is that goes much further than the empire of athletics.”
“Let’s call this the deletion of Transgender Georgians act today,” said Drenner, who was the first openly LGBTQ+ member of the legislative power when she was chosen in 2000.
Various states, despite the executive command of President Donald Trump, have reportedly continued to allow transgender athletes to compete against biological women; The Ministry of Education has started title IX investigations into California, Minnesota and Maine.
